Death Anniversary of Fereydoun Farrokhzad in Bonn

6th August 2013 was 21st death anniversary of Fereydoun Farrokhzad. 
He was a popular TV presenter in 1970s and 1980s in Persia and later in exile in Europe and the United States.
Farrokhzad was stabbed to death on 6 August 1992 at his home in Bonn, Germany. Prior to his murder, Farrokzhad had been involved in producing an opposition radio programs and reportedly received death threats.
In his 1987 show the Royal Albert Hall in London he criticized Ayatollah Khomeini (leader of 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran) and made fun of Khomeini's obsession with sex in his Ressaleh book, which followed death threats and concerns for him.
